Leap Day: Designing Time for Synchronization.

February 29, known as Leap Day, is an adaptive feature of the Gregorian calendar, added every four years to align our annual calendar with the Earth's orbit around the Sun. This design correction ensures that our timekeeping remains consistent and accurate over the years, compensating for the actual solar year length of approximately 365.25 days.
